  • Structural Assembly

    Structural Assembly

Structural adhesives are suitable for bonding a wide range of materials including metal, glass, ceramics, wood and many opaque or clear plastics. Available in single and dual component high strength epoxy with superior strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance. Assembly of large framed panels, display cabinets, and other structural fixtures need adhesives that produce extremely high bond strength.

  • Glass Assembly, Bevel Bonding, and Chipping

Glass Assembly, Bevel Bonding, and Chipping

High strength bonding of glass to glass, glass to metal, glass to ceramic or glass to plastic can be achieved with flat glass, float glass, tempered glass, and a myriad of other glass types. Glass adhesives are solvent free and light curable (UV and UV/Visible light). Full cure is achieved in seconds, which yields faster assembly time and lower process costs. The cured adhesives are optically clear, and resist thermal cycling and humidity.

  • Form and Cure-In-Place Gaskets, (FIP/CIP)

    Form and Cure-In-Place Gaskets, (FIP/CIP)

UV or UV/Visible light curable chemistry for Form and Cure-In-Place Gaskets, (FIP/CIP) dispensed as a flowable liquid or non-migrating gel, exactly where a gasket is required, and then cured (hardened) in seconds as part of a continuous in-line production process.

Cured properties: moisture resistance, low shrinkage, invulnerability to thermal cycling, high cohesive strength, and surfaces that range from tack-free to sticky, (like a PSA).

  • Flexible Package Lamination with Light Curable Adhesives

Flexible Package Lamination with Light Curable Adhesives

Light curable flexible packaging adhesives that are ideally suited for laminating films, papers and foils used in product packaging. Theses laminating adhesives can be used to seal point-of-purchase display packages, (clamshells). PVC, PET, and RPET can be securely bonded together in a fast, efficient UV light curing process.

  • Display/Touch Screen Panel Assembly

    Display/Touch Screen Panel Assembly

Touch screen adhesives or ,touch panel adhesives are optically clear adhesives for attaching glass and polymer-based touch screen panels. They possess extreme softness, clarity, flexibility, and resistance to thermal cycling. In addition, the adhesives’ flow properties and ability to minimize air entrapment eliminate ripples, providing optimal image transmission.

  • Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Flex Circuit (FPC) Assembly

Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Flex Circuit (FPC) Assembly

Solvent-free, UV or UV/Visible light curable chemistry for (PCB) printed circuit board assembly, (FPC) flex circuit assembly, coating, sealing, potting, encapsulating, corner bonding, edge bonding, die attachment, underfilling and conductive adhesives.

  • Masking Aerospace/Turbine Components for Surface Cleaning and Finishing Operations

Masking Aerospace/Turbine Components for Surface Cleaning and Finishing Operations

UV curable masking products are easily applied and cured in seconds with a UV light source. A single application provides consistent protection from blasting, hot acids, alkali solutions, plating, etc. Masking materials in multiple viscosities to accommodate a wide variety of applications. Removal ranges from simple peel to incineration or heat treating for applications with more severe surface protection requirements.

  • Medical Device Assembly

    Medical Device Assembly

Our UV light curable adhesives for medical device assembly are specifically formulated to meet critical performance and regulatory demands of the medical industry. Designed and developed to provide superior adhesion after sterilization and aging, resist humidity and moisture, maintain lot to lot consistency, and fully crosslink upon cure to assure biocompatibility to USP Class VI and ISO 10993 standards.

  • Bonding Plastics and Dissimilar Substrates

    Bonding Plastics and Dissimilar Substrates

Tangent’s adhesives for plastic bonding can be cured with UV, UV/Visible, or only Visible light wavelengths. High adhesion is achieved when bonding dissimilar substrates, including combinations of polycarbonate, acrylic, ABS, polyurethane, polyethylene, stainless steel, and glass. They are well suited for assembling consumer appliances and electronics, screens and displays, product packaging, and a host of other applications involving combinations of plastics, metals and glass.
